Well, I have a payed account on here again. I like it, being faster and all. And I used it to give an account to my friend Nate. Also I set up an account to update people on the missions work I’ll be doing in Wildwood, NJ.
Last night was our last official ‘house meeting’ for the Potter’s House. We made things for each other, little crafty things that just express how we’ll remember each other (for those of us who probably won’t hang out much next year… pretty much Megan, because the rest of us have been friends apart from the Potter’s House experience). I don’t think I ever realized how much of a sap I am for stuff like that, I was honestly jealous when Carrie and Stacey made the one for Greg the other night. Even though I got one 2 years ago and Greg had never gotten one, I still am jealous… I dunno.
After the house meeting I was supposed to go over to the Towers computer lab and help my Group Discussion group work on the paper and presentation, but when I called the one girl’s cellphone they said I didn’t need to come, just to practice my Electric Slide, because we’re teaching the class it today.
Stuff with Carrie is just being not easy at all. We both know what needs to be happening and what definitely does not, but it’s really really hard. To quote Chris Hill, “Patience is a virtue that takes too long.”
Oh well, Philippians 4:13, right?
Crazy stuff last night, again. Whatever.
This weekend went really well, we had a day devoted to going through what it means to be a man (the ladies did women) of God. It went really really well, we played poker for a while and skimmed over the main topics of a book called Mark of a Man by Elizabeth Elliott, it’s a really really good book.
I had 3 meetings on Sunday 1 for a class, and two for Crusade and the Campus Ministry Board. We also had the new members of the servant team at the meeting that night. Stuff is getting pretty exciting for next year!
Also, I started getting emails and that stuff from the people from the Wildwood project. I can’t wait, it’s less than a month now before I’ll be in New Jersey serving God through Campus Crusade with 80 some other people!!! WOOOO!
Okay, that and I got published for the 3rd time on a website called SoThere.com (warning: don’t go there if you don’t want to read me being ‘emo.’)
I want to be in the middle of a pit tearing it up right now!!! The new Hatebreed is sooo good! I am listening to ‘Smash Your Enemies,’ everyone’s favorite Hatebreed song on the new recording, it is so so so so tough!
