in everything,lj import

I have no comment about the entire etho-political wrangling up to this point, I am concerned as to what we do from here…

To everyone who has prayed fervently, given money, protested, written a politician and even said that they need to do something to feed her, you have committed yourself. You have committed yourself to fight for the rights of every hungry and thirsty individual throughout the world. You have committed to spend at least 842 million times of your energy, prayers, dollars and words to fight to feed that many more people around the world who are malnourished and thirsty.

If this seems to be too much for you, and you really have claimed to care about the case just because she is a human being… there are at least 841,999,999 other people, who are real humans that we know for certain are able to feel their hunger and thirst. People who God cares about just as much, and longs for their good just as much.

Is it too much, were you caught up by the “spin”?

Mitch Hedberg dead at 37

Mitch Died this Wednesday from a heart attack, possibly drug induced.

Mitch was super funny, but recently it was said that his performances were on the decline quality-wise because of his extensive drug use. I can confirm this, I love his recorded stuff, but I saw him live last month at Slippery Rock University, and it just was not funny at all… he was really off.

I may be a jerk for thinking this, but I am saddened way more by this than by Terri Schaivo dying… I feel like the world has lost much more with him.

Here are some other links I want to share with you:

Banksy

March 28, 2005

Banksy Carrie and I were listening to NPR the other day and heard about this guy. He has been getting into art museums and secretly hanging his own pieces in their galleries without people noticing. He does that and a lot of other “revolutionary” art things. I especially like his graffiti stenciling.
