My GMail account has officially been hacked into. As of this past Saturday, someone hacked into my jayson.whelpley@gmail.com account. They sent me a message today in response to the message that I had sent them to make sure that the account wasn’t just locked or something.

Can anyone help. I’ve contacted GMail and, so far, they have not helped me out at all. Does anyone have an “in” at all?! In the mean time, email me at jason.whelpley@gmail.com (my account for the misspelling of my name).

Just so everybody knows… I can’t get into GMail or my Google Account on the whole really.

Sunday afternoon I was able to get into everything, but later that evening I was unable to get in and was getting an “invalid password” error. What is a little scary and weird for me is that I know that I have the right password entered, especially because I have multiple programs that access it automatically and all of a sudden they’re not working either.

If anyone has any info about what’s going on with this, that would be great. If you absolutely need to get to me via email use my alternate jason.whelpley@gmail.com (notice, without the “y”). Hopefully, I will have this worked out by Friday morning after the mandatory 5-day hiatus before I can answer my security question.

I just hope that this isn’t on par with what went on with people’s accounts a few months ago.
