People love to complain and be loud mouths about stuff, so of course the people who are touched by or who appreciate this aren't going to go right to the internets and talk about it.

I do wish there were other faiths that had the means/permission/guts to do this. Wouldn't it be nice if all faiths could buy up a 30 second spot and show kids being adorable and in adoration?

Interesting, Jayson. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this. The key factor in anything we do is to do what we do as unto the LORD. It is Him we serve. The gifts are from Him, the ministries are from Him, and the results are His fruit.

Jayson great perspective. Thanks for the reminder that God is at work in everything whether we see and hear of it or not.

it should look humble. It should say "I/We made a mistake, and I am/we are truly sorry."

And they should be truly sorry. That's a huge part of it.

We dropped the streaming part of it because it is all junk that we never watched. I like the discs, but will be giving the "new" service a one month trial. Maybe. I could definitely live without having a few hours per week sucked up by television

I agree, and have all but given up on the news. I've found that most things that I need to know are broadcast on television or radio or by actual real live people in front of my face so I don't miss out on anything that is majorly life changing.

We are bombarded with negativity on a constant basis. It isn't good for us. I don't need to concentrate or mourn for those six people because those deaths have no bearing on me or my child or my family. Or my family's family or their families or or or times 1000 degrees of Kevin Bacon.

It's not news. It's something sad that happened half way around the world.

I've had this issue affect me more times than I care to recount. The "frozen" piece you described in unbeatable, and I used WD-40, Pam cooking spray, and olive oil, at one point. I'm glad I have AAA, but am sick of using my allotted number of calls per year to help with the Lumina's battery or connections. I will never buy another car without checking the exact placement of the battery under the hood. And it's too bad, too...as I really love this little car.

Oh how beautiful it is to see a dad embrace the vast importance of his role. Love the chest hair imprint story. Hope you and your "hot lady" of a wife of loving every second of parenthood. :)

oh, and it's also good for parent's brains. Serotonin and Oxytocin and all those feel good hormones explode in your brain when you hold your baby.

Skin on skin contact is the Number One Ultimate thing you can do for Fia's brain wiring right now. New babies who are held, especially those held skin to skin have brains that wire up to 200% faster and stronger than babies who are left alone.

I'm not sure if Carrie is nursing, but naked baby nursing (or even shirtless bottle feeding)- where both the person feeding the baby and the baby are topless, has been shown to be outstandingly spectacular for brain development and attachment and health.

You guys are off to a good start already!!

Love to you three from us three
