This looks like just a crappy webcam photo from the back of a room with lots of people in it. And that it is. But it’s also an awesome picture.

This weekend is the MD/DC Fall Retreat. I have to admit that I usually think that planned worship times that are planned to not have a planned end time are a little hokey. But they always end up great.

At the beginning of this one I got a call from one of the students who wasn’t able to come this weekend. This student struggles with some pretty heinous depression and had gone to the hospital because of how bad it was tonight. I promised to pray for him (and did), and then shared it with the other students from his school then we (myself and the students from his school) had the idea of having all 250+ of us pray for him.

We did.

They did.

It was great.
